Free sample / discovery params (no key needed): - GET /api/v1/resources/{slug}?sample=1 — sample payload, when the listing publishes one - GET /api/v1/resources/{slug}?discovery=1 — machine metadata 2. Paid call: Your IntelClaw API key: header `Authorization: Bearer im_...` - Key policy: Any account can create a free API key. Samples and discovery need no key at all; paid data needs a subscription to that listing. - Get a key: sign up at /sign-up, then POST /api/keys {name} (or use /dashboard/keys) - Unlock paid data: subscribe to the listing at /checkout?listing={slug} - Checkout returns 409 unless the listing is live and has a live source. A sample is not for sale. - The key is shown once at creation; store it securely - People and agents use the same key. Paid calls accept no other payment method. 3. Errors: - A paid call without a key returns HTTP 401. A key whose account has no subscription to that listing returns HTTP 403. - 401 also covers a key that is not recognised - 403 also covers a metered plan whose monthly cap is used up (see Payment) - 429: rate limited; obey `Retry-After` - 502: source temporarily unavailable (retry later) 4. Rate limits (per minute, per resource slug): no key 60, API key 120 ## MCP (Model Context Protocol) MCP endpoint: https://intelclaw.org/api/mcp (JSON-RPC 2.0 over HTTP, stateless) - initialize → capabilities (tools) - tools/list → live MCP tools with input schemas (POST {jsonrpc:'2.0',id,method:'tools/list'}) - tools/call {name, arguments} → same gate as REST: your IntelClaw API key (Bearer im_…) plus a subscription to the listing - Unpaid calls return ERR_PAYMENT_REQUIRED (-32001) with data.httpStatus 401 (no key) or 403 (no subscription for this listing). ## Resources ## Payment - People and agents use the same IntelClaw API key; a subscription per listing unlocks paid data - Billed monthly by Polar, our merchant of record. Cancel anytime from your dashboard. - Metered plans: 10,000 calls/month hard cap (HTTP 403 past the cap). The Live Price Feed plan is unlimited and has no monthly cap. - Refunds: see https://intelclaw.org/pricing ## Trust, reviews, and comparison - How verification works: https://intelclaw.org/trust. Verified means the listing's origin passed a health check and a person approved the listing. Health checks run every 6 hours. - Reviews JSON: https://intelclaw.org/api/reviews?slug={listingSlug} (GET lists reviews; POST while signed in with an active subscription or a past paid call to that listing creates one) - Compare listings: https://intelclaw.org/compare?slugs={slug1,slug2,slug3}
