Privacy policy

IntelClaw operates a catalog of verified data APIs, MCP tools and feeds. We process account data for authentication, Polar.sh billing, and IntelClaw API keys (im_) used by people and agents. This policy describes what we store and who processes it. Terms of service cover catalog rules.

What we store

• Account identity (name, email, role) and session cookies
• Subscription and entitlement records linked to Polar customer IDs (not your card number)
• API key hashes only (raw keys are shown once at creation)
• Transaction logs (channel, amount, listing) for refunds, fraud prevention, and usage statistics
• Listing files (samples/datasets) on configured object storage (local or Cloudflare R2)
• Reviews and wishlists you submit

Billing data and Polar

Checkout, subscriptions, invoices, tax and card data are handled by Polar.sh, our merchant of record, and its payment partners. IntelClaw does not store card numbers or CVV. Polar’s own privacy policy applies to that checkout session. Polar sends us customer IDs, product and order references, subscription status and refund events so we can grant or revoke access to a listing. Billing and refund terms are on the terms page.

Catalog

Listing metadata is public; paid data is served only to subscribers. IntelClaw proxies paid calls to the listing’s source; we log delivery outcomes, not unrelated origin-side personal data.

Agents

Agents use your account’s IntelClaw API keys. The raw key is shown once; IntelClaw stores only its hash.

• Resend (optional) — transactional email when configured
• Upstash or Redis (optional) — rate-limit counters when configured
• Chatwoot on support.intelclaw.org when live chat is enabled

We do not sell personal data. We do not use payment or billing data for advertising. Cookies are used for auth sessions and (when enabled) the Chatwoot widget.

Access and deletion

Email the operator via https://support.intelclaw.org for access, correction, or deletion. Polar billing records may also be managed in the Polar customer portal from your buyer dashboard. Some ledger rows are retained as required for refunds and fraud prevention.
